The team at Realcom have extensive experience working for and in local government from a consultancy, construction contractor and employee point of view. This skill set coupled with ability to tackle all facets of the planning, design, contract and construction elements of a project regardless of it being a civil, built-form or landscape works is the reason why Realcom is an innovative contender in the project management industry.

Both Reg and Brad are highly experienced project managers and will be the primary representatives assigned to the works within the tender. Together, they create a unique project / contract management team covering the key areas of Planning, Funding, Design, Contracts and Construction coupled with an in-depth knowledge in civil, built-form and landscape works.

Reg Bateman

Director

Reg’s professional background includes senior positions at Hooker Projects, Civil & Civic, Lend Lease and Les Friday Developments. Highly regarded for his personal and professional approach and his local knowledge, Reg delivers results. Our clients respect and benefit from his wealth of experience.

As Realcom’s Director, Reg is responsible for project strategy, design and construction documentation, financial analysis, preparation of funding submissions, and raising finance for major projects.

Realcom commenced trading 24 years ago and in that time has managed the delivery of numerous land subdivisions, shopping centres, industrial building projects as well as offices and general commercial projects. As the founding director, Reg Bateman has guided the business and established many valued repeat clients. The Company success is exemplified in its long-term relations and industry recognition as a boutique development and project manager.

Reg’s relationships with local developers, various contractors and consultants, built over many years, allow projects to progress smoothly from strategy to handover; earning Realcom its reputation as one of WA’s most reliable project and development management consultancies.

Brad Schrader

Director

Since 2002, Brad has been involved in various projects as both a team member and leader liaising with consultants, approval authorities, overseeing construction and project managing building, subdivision, redevelopment and heavy civil works throughout metropolitan and regional Western Australia.  

A full member of Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Project Management, Brad started his career in the public service at the Department of Conservation and Land Management (now DEC), he then moved into private practice working as a consultant to the land development, redevelopment and building industries for both private and government clients. With a focus on residential and industrial land development, Brad worked closely with each client including Landcorp, Stockland, LWP Property Group and Estates Development Company. After 8 plus years, Brad sort to broaden his experience by working in the resource industry (mining, oil and gas) through a civil and concrete contracting firm. As a Project Manager he acted as both a contractor to the likes of Chevron, Woodside, BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto and then as a principal Project Manager for the owners of the business overseeing their internal company building development works.

Brad has honed his project and contract management skills by working on all sides of the construction and development industry. This provides Brad with a holistic perspective to managing projects as a whole and/or components ranging from $10million - $100 million in value. Brad's mantra as a lead development and project manager is to accurately identify what needs to be achieved and to work with all stakeholders in a collaborate approach ensuring all project commitments are delivered.

Nigel Bullen

Nigel is a highly experienced project manager specialising in working with organisations to manage significant transformation, built-form and organisational change.
He has extensive experience in supporting organisations to successfully deliver capital works and complexed infrastructure programs and has worked extensively on managing commercial transformation projects across Australia and overseas.
Throughout the lifecycle of a project, Nigel works to a theme:
